Dear fellow Adventurers,
Thank you for taking the time to visit Outdoorfreak.
There are a lot of places you could spend your time and a lot of companies asking for your attention, so the fact that you chose to spend a few minutes here means something to me.
Outdoorfreak is still near the beginning of its story. We’re building it one idea, one lesson, one improvement, and one relationship at a time. My hope is that as it grows, it never loses sight of the things that mattered at the start: useful ideas, dependable gear, honest value, time spent outdoors, and treating people the right way.
I don’t want Outdoorfreak to simply be a company people buy from. I hope it becomes a place where people who love the outdoors feel welcome—whether they’re here to find better gear, learn something new, follow the build, share an idea, volunteer their knowledge, expertise, or professional skills, or simply see where the journey goes.
Support isn’t always monetary. Sometimes the most valuable contribution is time, experience, a skill, a connection, or simply being willing to help. If you have knowledge, expertise, or professional skills you’d like to volunteer, I’d be grateful to hear from you.
And that journey is already moving forward.
We’re getting closer to production on what we believe will become Outdoorfreak’s flagship product for the kayak industry, and I’m incredibly excited about what we’re building. Behind it, we already have three additional product ideas lined up for prototyping as we continue developing the Outdoorfreak product family.
But products are only one part of the vision.
As Outdoorfreak grows, we plan to expand into a broader catalog of outdoor products and services built around real-world experience. And when the time is right, I hope that journey eventually leads us to something even bigger—an Outdoorfreak campground of our own, a place where the gear, the adventures, and the community can come together.
The outdoors has given me a lifetime of memories, lessons, challenges, and opportunities to solve problems. Outdoorfreak grew from that experience, but I want its future to be shaped by more than one person. That’s why community matters here.
